THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL IN 3rd GRADE

It is hard to believe that we are bringing the school year to an end this week. It has been an amazing journey for all of us, and much was accomplished in many different areas (academic, social, and emotional).

CONGRATULATIONS to our wonderful 3rd grade actors and their superb performance last Friday in the Fractured Fairy Tale plays. We have heard lots of praises from parents, teachers and students regarding the excellent job done by all.

This last week of school we will be:

  • Playing probability games in Math
  • Writing reflections about 3rd grade
  • Reading comprehension practices

A reminder to parents that Taylor will be celebrating his birthday and bidding good bye to his Honduran classmates on Monday, June 4. Lunch and cake will be provided.

Kamila will be celebrating her birthday on Tuesday, June 5. Snack and cake will be provided for all of us. This is an early dismissal day (11:40 am).

On Wednesday, June 6, we will have our end of the year party. A group of parents are organizing delicious treats for this day, so do not bring snack on this day either. The DISCOVERY IDOL will take place at 10:30 am. This is also an early dismissal day (11:40 am).

Thursday, June 7 is the last day of class. There will be an Honors Assembly at 10:30 a.m. Students will be dismissed at 11:40 am.

We want to thank all our parents for their unconditional support throughout this school year, and our students for their hard work. We wish everyone a wonderful summer, and wish you all the best!

Come join us for a wonderful activity to say good bye to this school year this Saturday, June 9 at the CHOIR CARNIVAL & BINGO! It will be a great activity for all the family to enjoy!
